    Injection

    • Tetranor 20% is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, with bacteriostatic action against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms (like Streptococci, Staphylococci, Pasteurella spp., Brucella spp., Corynebacteria spp., Erysipelothrix, Coliforms, Salmonella), Rickettsiae, Mycoplasmas, Chlamydia, and some protozoa. Activity against Pseudomonas, Proteus- and Klebsiella spp. is low. Applied parenterally, oxytetracycline quickly penetrates the blood and tissues. The advanced effect of this preparation is the extremely long therapeutic effect. Oxytetracycline acts synergistically with polymyxin

      • Mode Of Action
        Long acting Antibiotic ,is effective against infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to oxytetracycline, like infections of the respiratory tract (pneumonia, bronchopneumonia), infections of the urinary tract, foot rot and Bedsoniasis in sheep. Dysentery, shipping fever, gastro-enteritis, Mycoplasmosis, (endo)metritis, mastitis, Salmonellosis and liver abscesses in cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.

        Intramuscular injection for Cattle Swines, Sheep and Goat: 1 ml / 10kg live body weight Intravenously (IV): the dosage rate for Cattle and Sheep is 1 - 2.5 ml / 10 kg live body weight
